Please help me how to make my MS Word not a starter

Hello!

How can I make my MS Word not a starter anymore?

Because it is so hard for me to work with a MS Word starter and the link beside it is so distractive.

Please help me with this.

I hope you are doing great.

If you are having problems with your MS Word Starter, the easiest way to get rid of your Microsoft Office Starter is to uninstall it. 

You can do that like this:

Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Microsoft Office Starter 2010

Hello Graceeliz,

To get rid of this problem, you have to uninstall MS Word starter by clicking in the following way:

Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program( MS Word Starter)

For getting more advantages you can use a free alternative like LibreOffice or OpenOffice instead of MS Word Starter. 

For additional you may use following links:
https://www.libreoffice.org/
http://www.openoffice.org/

They work as like as MS Office and are consistent too. 

Both of them can read/write/edit MS Office files.
