Hello Everybody,
I am using windows vista in my system. I want to manually install the updates from windows. When I clicked on the automate button, it could not connect to windows update center, but gave me 0x80072EFF error message.
Please note that there are no security threats in my computer.
Please help me in downloading the latest Microsoft updates.

You can download updates for your Windows manually.
–     Open IE browser (just IE, not Chrome, Firefox, … because it does not work with other browser except IE)
–     Type the following link: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Thanks.aspx?id=150
–     Search for your operating system
–     Choose what updates you want to download
–     Give downloader which folder you want to save updates

Check for the following steps to manually check for windows updates.
·        Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button -> All Programs, and then clicking Windows Update.
·        In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
·        If any updates are found, click Install updates.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
This way you can manually update your operating system and program of your choice.
