Hello Experts,

I have received a warning message from McAfee. It is indicating my machine not fully protected. The screenshot of the warning message is as below. I received this message during startup. Have you any idea for the message? Please help me to understand it.

Hello Mr. Bond,

The idea of the message is that your antivirus is not running well or some feature inside the McAfee is not activated.

Here are some solutions for your problem:

1. Update your antivirus database, a failed update of a virus database, usually cause warning like what you meet.
2. Check your antivirus setting, if the protection is active or not. Activate it.
3. Check your antivirus firewall, whether it is have been activated or not. Activate it.
4. Check your antivirus license, if it is expired already, please buy a new license for it.

Hi Goldie,

Your antivirus need to be updated for it will work properly on your system. You should aware that antivirus needs updates for additional protection of your system. Its virus definition has been already obsolete so as that it needs updating for it to detect those latest viruses that might attempt to run in your system. In the other hand, your antivirus should be activated and should not be a trial version.

Hi,

It is may be possible you are using a trial version not full version that's why it is showing you this warning message because in trial version they don't give you full security because they have to earn money. That's the 1st reason.

2nd reason may be you have paid them and they gave the serial number or license to use but after all you have installed the trial version it will popup always try to uninstall it and get reinstalled it again.
