PhysX fails to install due to this error

Hi there,

During the install of PhysX this error appeared. I have checked the Internet connection and is working just fine like usually, the installer is not corrupt and is compatible with my Windows 7. Any solution for my problem ?

PhysX fails to install due to this error

Hello,

I believe you that your internet is  working absolutely fine, because this error is not occurring for this reason.  Some this happens occasionally when you attempt to alter your s/w i.e try to reinstall/update. This message indicates that window installer is facing problem in uninstalling the existing version. Try out this steps before attempting again to install:

• Run Window installer cleanup utility.
• remove existing Physx driver from system.
• after complete clean up run CCleaner inclusive of DNS cache as well.
• now down load and install a fersh and latest copy of Physx. 

Well including this i will suggest you check out the  security details as well for the files  .
