Hi Evelyndnell,

Some of your files must be missing thats why you are getting this error. Just do the following.

Copy the following file C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeAdobe Version Cue CS4Client4.0.0 to the location

C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeAdobe Version Cue CS4Client4.0.1

Also Copy the following files to the directory if they are not present there:

VersionCue.dll
VersionCueSDK.dll
VersionCueUI.dll
ExtendScript.dll

Then Restart your computer. Open Adobe Photoshop. Your issue will be resolved.

This is a pretty common problem among Photoshop CS3 users related to the “VersionCueUI.DLL” file. This happens because that DLL file is missing from its original location. If the program is working properly before, the DLL file must have been moved to a different location after you installed an update.

To verify if the file is missing or not, open Windows Explorer then navigate to “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeAdobe Version Cue CS3Client3.0.0”. Look for the “VersionCueUI.DLL” file. If the file is not there then it must have been moved or deleted by a recent update you installed. Open your web browser and go to Adobe Version Cue CS3 Client 3.1.0 Update then download and install the update.

Restart your computer afterwards then start Photoshop CS3. See if this works. You may also want to visit Version Cue for Windows for other versions of the Cue component.
