Photoshop CS3 installation error message

Hello to everyone, I’d like to ask if anyone had this type of problem while trying to finish the installation of Photoshop CS3.

While trying to copy the setup.exe file to my desktop I got a message saying:

“The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in 'AdobePhotoshop10en_US.dmg' can't be read or written. (Error code -36). Ok”.

The installation won’t work from a CD so I don’t have any other ideas on how to solve this.

Thanks in advance.

OK dear there are plenty of solution that may help you just don’t worry. First you have to try to copy all the data of the CD in a folder in your hard disk. OK then if you see CD read error in the copy process then don’t close the copy window and open the CD player and close the CD player than click try again. Then try to install from that folder to do this you have to find a file like “setup.exe” or “install.exe”. Then double click it. Then if this not solves the problem then browse the file which is missing and copy past it or brought another installation CD because your installation CD has a problem.

It could be that the CD installer has corrupted file or the CD is dirty or the CD player is the one that is dirty.

Solution 1: Insert a CD cleaner on your CD player and to make sure. Wipe the CD with the installer using a cloth to remove fingerprints on it. Then run the set up again.

Solution 2: The installer really is corrupted if the error still appears so to resolve. Download it in the internet and then install it. You can simply search it but make sure to have the necessary license. But I don't think you can find it in the Adobe website anymore so you have to look deeper through the web.
