PDf file cannot be viewed/downloaded via IE 11

I've been trying to download a service manual online and it comes in a PDF file. However, I cannot open the file from IE 11. Whenever I click on the file, it tries to download the generation link and not the file itself. It works in other browsers. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? What did you do to fix it?

Hi Beatricegvavra,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this problem, I have just the solution for you. Please follow these simple steps below:

1. Hold the Windows Key and R, the Run dialog box will pop up, type in Regedt32.exe in the dialog box and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2. Scroll to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain. In the right pane search for TabProcGrowth, it must have the value data as 0.

3. Close the Registry Editor and reboot to see the results you want.
