PC-Link software fails with server error is there a way around?

When working with computer system-web page PC-link software version 2.0.0.0.7, the "Activate operate" or perhaps the "Software package update" gives a system error stating that the server information is invalid.

How can this be fixed?

PC_link
the information from the server is in error, try again later.

It seems that you need a fresh newly updated copy of PC-link software. The specifications laid in at the server is not available to the current client software. Another such problem occurs when you do not have adequate access rights to the directory being asked for.

You can try allowing the IP being asked for in your Firewall. Allow the links that you require at your Web Shield(if any). The error seems not to be a system generated error as you say, but its the error of the software you are using and the error statement is not the actual error.

The error message shown is written as a program part of error handling methods. It may not be the fault of the software alone, the server might not be configured for the request you are making. Try consulting the server manager.

Thanks.
