Hi,

Whatever operation I make on my PC produces a popping sound. This include mouse clicks, typing etc. First thing to suspect was the speakers but no this was not the case. I already verified that it is not about speakers. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. Any ideas?

First thing is to down load a free version of antivirus and scan your computer. This can be due to virus/Trojan /malware or other malicious software which might have infected your PC. Some of the adware which may be installed with minimum notice.

If no virus/malicious software is found, go to control panel and click on “program and features”. A list of installed software will be shown. Check for program which you have not installed and under publisher name column check for the kind of unknown company name. If any suspicion uninstall that program

You need to make sure that you are not infected with any malicious, Trojan, or any virus. You can get this anti virus for free and it will scan every local drive, all your files including the whole operating system. AntiVir software Antivirus. This will also protect you from any phishing sites and you can use this from being affected from any virus in the future.
