Page Plus X7 Pro Template Pack could not be installed

Hello All,

A few days back I installed PagePlus X7 that came with Pro Template Collection: Home Improvement & Services. I could install PagePlus X7 without any issues. However, the template pack gives errors when attempting to install. I am using windows 7 Home Basic 32 bit version and McAfee internet security on my computer. I thought I’d give copying the disk to a local directory and installing from there a try. But on running the setup from the directory, I am greeted with the error again and the templates could not be installed. I get this error message as soon as I start the exe file. I verified that I have write permission on this machine and that I did not have any other programs open while installing. Is anyone else having this issue? Did you get a workaround or fix for this issue? Please help me out. Thanking you for your valuable tips in advance.

It’s as if you are trying to run a non-existing program because the computer can’t seem to open the file. This error sometimes happens mostly on corrupted installers and sometimes if the package is incompatible with the target operating system and is meant for a different operating system. In case the installer is really a valid Windows package, it could only mean one thing, that it is not compatible with your operating system.

At this stage, you should check the specifications of the application you supposedly be installing. Normally, since you mention that you are using the Home Basic edition of Microsoft Windows 7, there are several applications that don’t support the Home Basic edition especially for Microsoft Windows Vista. But after checking on the app, PagePlus X7 doesn’t mention any problem installing it on the Home Basic edition so generally, it should install just fine.

PagePlus X7 officially supports x86 Windows XP Service Pack 3, x86 or x64 Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. I suspect you downloaded the installer from a different website which means there is a possibility that your installer is really damaged. To make sure the installer is working one hundred percent, download it from PagePlus X7 Desktop Publishing.

I assume that you already have the program’s license key because you will need it to activate the software once it is installed.
