Hello! Just asking, What could the merging of OptimIT and Ephesoft bring to the IT market? Could this merging possibly bring other Opensource authors to merge as well?

Opensources continue to dominate the market

Hi there,

OptimIT and Ephesoft are two big companies that are major players in the open source software environment.

Ephesoft is the company which provides highly advanced open source cloud-ready capture solutions and OptimIT specializes in custom hardware development on open source platforms. Recently Ephesoft announced the addition of OptimIT to its worldwide network of solution providers.

With the merging of these two open source experts, cloud computing will gain more popularity in Europe and hopefully the rest of the world, since the merging of these two companies results is significant cost reduction regarding cloud computing hardware and software.
