OABGen encountered an error 80004005

Hi,

On my Event Properties I found this error and I think I got it when I tried to generate and offline address book. I think I’ve messed up a bit Microsoft Exchange and I don’t know what to do next. Is there an expert that can help me please ?

OABGen encountered an error 80004005

To solve this issue following key points can help you out:

• Check that you have moved your generation server to Exchange Server 2010
• Also check that the Public Folder is mounted on Exchanges 2007 and Exchange Server 2010 locations. If you have not Exchange Server 2007 in production start uninstalling the server.

             Manage the “Public Folder” from Exchange Server 2010 side.

• Check that you replicate the “System Public Folders / Offline Address Book” with the new Exchange Server 2010.
• Also check that you replicate the subfolders (OAB Version 2, OAB Version 3a and OAB Version 4)

After being sure all that stuff, run a new OAB Update and now you should be good to go.
