NVIDIA gtx 690 has exceptional performance no doubt but NVIDIA has certainly not resolved their problem with overheating of graphic card. My graphic card's temperature shoot at 78 degrees Celsius and does not cool efficiently. Is it common with all GTX 690?
NVIDIA GTX 690 overheating Issue !!
This overheating problem with any NVIDIA graphics card is really a common problem. They always have new versions with lots of new features but the overheating thing is already a trademark.
This overheating problem can’t be fixed. But you can always find a way to lessen the temperature generated by the device by adding or installing internal fans or cooling fans in your CPU. This will improve the air circulation around and inside your CPU.
I’ve already seen images of some NVIDIA graphics card that has a built-in cooling fan in it. This is good since this will introduce more cool air into the device which lessens the heat generated inside it.
The overheating problem with NVIDIA graphics card is usually caused by too much graphics processing because maybe of playing a game for long hours.
The device doesn’t generate too much heat if you are just using your computer normally without any graphics being displayed on the screen.

Genebraldo Regio. Hi,

I think 78C is not good for electronic item in PC and usually VGA cards generate more heat. But you should maintain this temperature. Use some Cooling fans so you can reduce your temperature. Â

That would be better for your VGA life time.
