Notification sound for AVG internet security 2012

Dear Friends,

I have installed the trial version of AVG Internet Security 2012 on my windows XP, I am unable to get the sound notification in that. I have enabled the sound for AVG internet security 2012 in its settings but is unable to hear the notification sound. There is no other issue with sound, as i am able to play songs with sound. Please advice on how to overcome this issue.

Notification sound for AVG internet security 2012

Hello dear Damon Healy,

Here is a sound notification problem in AVG Internet Security 2012. As there is no sound play when notification come in AVG Internet Security 2012 in Windows Xp. You need to install the AVG Internet Security 2013 latest full version on your Windows XP for enable the notification sound.

Notification sound for AVG internet security 2012

Hello Healy,

Check the AVG advanced setting and make sure that you do not have checked option "do not play sound when full screen application is active".

1. First you have to open the AVG interface and in the tools menu click the advanced settings option.

2. Then select the sound in the left navigation tree and uncheck "Do not play sounds when full screen application is active" option.

3. Check the result now.
