From a program I make a calendar arrangement detail ( ics file) and throw it to email receiver. This has been running very good with Outlook 2003 clients on the other hand Outlook 2007 clients are facing difficulty. They obtain it as an attachment with the heading:Â not supported calendar message.ics
Is there an answer to this like for SP or hotfix?Â

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft to fix the issue with Outlook 2007 calendar. If the holidays that are scheduled to occur in 2013 or later are not displayed while importing the file into the Outlook 2007 calendar, then this hotfix is for you.
If unable to open the file, it can be fixed by changing the registry settings.
1. Go to start menu and type Regedit on search bar
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftOffice12.0OutlookOptionsWebCal
3. Double-Click on DWORD
4. If the value listed there is 1, change the value to 0
5. Close the registry and try to open the calendar
