Not received any new updates from Windows Update?

I have two questions. First is regarding a notification which appears every day saying that I did not yet performed a scan on my computer. Is this a bug or virus on my computer? I perform a scan everyday. By the way, I am using MSE. I did not have this problem since I started using it from about a year ago. My second question would be why is that I have not received any new updates from Windows Update?

I will suggest that you do the following to and see if the error message will be done away with:

• If you have not done the scan for that day and you have scheduled on your antivirus be doing a scan on daily basis, then I will advise that you do so for that may be the possible cause of the problem. Also make sure that your antivirus if up to date for it to be able to detect, malware and viruses.
• Run a system registry program to clear all broken registry entries that may be available on the computer that are responsible for the occurrence of that problem. The program I will recommend for you for cleaning up the registry files is ccleaner and you can download it for free from the internet.

Not received any new updates from Windows Update?

Whether you are scanning your pc but still getting the notification that didn't yet performed scan on your computer, then it can any virus or some Spyware are stopping to completely scan your computer. You should uninstall spyware and then try it.

Your 2nd question is this that, you are not able to get the new updates then, first of all you should install sp2 in your system because the windows sent mostly updates on sp2 system. But if this is installed, May be some Spyware are blocking the new update, which should come in your pc; you can try by uninstalling those Spyware.

If still you are facing the same problem then use another method, first go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/. Then click on the Microsoft update link or windows which will be on the start menu and follow the prompts.

By this way you can solve your problem easily. If there are still some updates, which are not coming then you should have to run the update by same method several time, as you can get all the requires updates.
