Not able to start Android-Studio in my laptop.

I want to use android studio for android app development but not able to use it on my laptop. When I start the android studio it asks for project name, and some other field’s to fill but when I press “finish” to start, it shows proxy error. I have no idea about this proxy error in Android-Studio .Please suggest some way to find solution for this problem.

Hello,

 

Enter the application, select “Configure,” and then select “Settings.” In the “IDE Settings” menu, select “HTTP Proxy.” Select either “No Proxy” or manually enter your proxy settings. Then restart the application. It should then be able to perform the functions necessary to allow the start of a new project.

 

If this for some reason does not work, you can also manually enter proxy settings in the “gradle.properties” file located in the parent directory.
