Norton 360 fails to launch

Hi,

I have Norton 360 installed to secure my computer from all kinds of threats. But recently on launch am getting an error as shown below. I have tried reinstallation but still have the problem. Any other remedies?

Norton 360 fails to launch

Hello Simon, it seems like this error is happening because you didn’t update your Norton product.

Norton is such an antivirus that requires the latest update to keep you safe. After each new installation, the program requires more components to be run and function properly. While giving the LiveUpdate, the important data are downloaded.

If you have got this error, please update your product.

• Go to Norton 360 main window >> Security >> Run LiveUpdate

• A new window will appear and show the progress.

• If completed, click OK.

Norton 360 fails to launch

Norton 360 by Symantec is not in use by many people around. Whenever you counter a problem simply go to Norton community and post your error problem.

In this case of Error 3039, 69638, fix your problem following these instructions:

• Uninstall N360, and reboot your PC
• Run the cleanup utility and again reboot the system
• Use Cleaner to scan your registry and fix anything found
• Reinstall Norton 360

If still you face problems, then go to Norton community.
