Nokia Connection Manager Error – Media type is not supported

Hello,

Can anyone please help me with this? I have tried to solve this on my own, but certainly I can’t. I am using Bluetooth dongle.

I use this because I read many positive reviews on the internet. I can transfer files on my phone using a dongle without sweat, no errors or issues. But when it comes to using Nokia PC Suite, I cannot make a connection. It says media type is not supported.

I am using my Nokia C3 it seems like Nokia PC Suite cannot recognize my dongle.

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks to those who would help.

Nokia Connection Manager

 Hi Kevin,

You are using the wrong PC Suite software. Nokia C3-00 supports Nokia Pc Suite 7 & other updated version of PC Suite 7. But you are using Nokia PC Suite 6. You can download it from this link https://www.nokia.com/en_us/phones/support

I can guarantee you that your problem will be solved.

You have got a particular problem but I hope there are few solutions for that. If above image is the image of your PC suite then you are using the wrong PC suite software. Nokia C3-00 supports Nokia Pc Suite 7 & other updated version of PC Suite 7. But you are using Nokia Pc Suite 6.

First Install Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver, you can find that in your disk provided by Nokia. If you do not find that, you can follow this link https://www.nokia.com/en_us/phones/support. You will find the PC suite software there too. You can also find other updated information about your device. Then install the PC Suite 7 software. This software will step by step provide you all the information about managing connections.

I hope that this solution will fix your problem now. But if the problem persists contact you nearest Nokia Customer Care and they will solve your problem.
