No power Toshiba satellite laptop

My Toshiba Laptop has no power. It was happening when one friend of mine borrowed it. She said that it had shut down when she used the battery charger on the different laptop. I had already checked my battery and charger and it works in the Toshiba laptop of my classmate. I hope that someone could help me in repairing my laptop. I just want to know what are the possible solutions for this problem.

I need your help on this matter.

The best solution is to use a wired connection. Plug in the power cable from your laptop going into the power source. In this way, you'll identify if something else might have cause why the computer is not turning on.

If found out that even using the power cable but still won't turn on, then you'll need to dig deeper on the possible problem.

There might be an internal problem, like RAM, Processor, BIOS and some hardware components inside. Try to check if the fan is running when you turn on because this might be a simple fan issue.

This has to be checked by a computer expert if still won't turn on. By going this route, computer technician can take a good look of what might be the reason why it's not turned on.

However, if using a wired connection through power cord is working then it might be just a simple driver for battery. The original battery might have been replaced and or what you have now is not compatible with the current computer have.

Try to update the driver for the battery, if chip is needed to install just to make the battery works with your laptop, then do so. But the common issue is the laptop's battery driver. Update this up and you'll get a better result.
