What is the price of Nintendo Wii U? Can anyone compare the features of Nintendo with Xbox 360. What is the price of Nintendo?

Nintendo Wii U game console

I Have searched in Internet and the people are saying who the president of Nintendo have say who the price will be MORE than 250 $! The store Amazon from Germany put the Nintendo Wii U on sale by 399$. But this is a starting price. To know the exact price is only when the Wii U be released.

Size

 

Wii U: 1.8″ tall , 6.8″ wide, 10.5″ long.

360:n 2.75″ tall, 10.5″ Wide, 10.25″ long.

 

Winner: Wii U. The Wii U wins everything except for length.

 

Controller:

 

Wii U: The new controller incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 touch screen and traditional button controls, including two analog Circle Pads. This combination removes the traditional barriers between games, players and the TV by creating a second window into the video game world.

 

The rechargeable controller includes a Power button, Home button, +Control Pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R buttons and ZL/ZR buttons. It includes a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, rumble feature, camera, a microphone, stereo speakers, a sensor strip and a stylus.

 

360: The controller requires AA batteries, comes with two analog sticks, A,B,X,Y buttons, directal pad, LB, LT, RB, RT

Other Controls.

 

Wii U: Up to four Wii Remote (or Wii Remote Plus) controllers can be connected at once.

The new console supports all Wii controllers and input devices, including the Nunchuk controller, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro and Wii Balance Board.

 

360: Up to four Dualshock 3 can be connected.

 

Winner: Wii U. It just has more functions than the Dualshock 3.

 

Media

 

Wii U: A single self-loading media bay will play 12-centimeter proprietary high-density optical disks for the new console, as well as 12-centimeter Wii optical disks.

360: DVD

 

Winner: Wii U

 

Video Output

 

Wii: Supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i. Compatible cables include HDMI 1.3,

component, S-video and composite.

360: Supports 1080P, 1080i, 720p, 480p, and 480i. HDML1.3, VGA, component, S-video, composite.

 

Winner: Wii U. Nearly identical except the Wii U features a 1.3 HDMI.

 

Audio Output.

 

Wii U: Uses AV Multi Out connector. Six-channel PCM linear output through HDMI.

360: Multi-channel surround sound output.

 

Winner: Wii U.

 

Storage.

 

Wii U: The console will have internal flash memory, as well as the option to expand its memory using either an SD memory card or an external USB hard disk drive. 

 

360: Detachable, and replaceable HDD. Older models do have come with hard drive, but new low grade model feature a 4 GB HDD.

 

Winner: Tie. Until the specs on a internal flash memory are revealed we're coming this a tie.

 

CPU

 

Wii U: IBM Power-based multi-core microprocessor. 

360: custom triple-core 64-bit PowerPC-based.

 

Winner: Wii U, Not going to Xbox 360 CPU used to beat humans on Jeopardy any day soon.

 

GPU

 

Wii U: Not Announced.

360: 500 MHz ATI Xenos.

 

Winner: Tie. Until more Info comes out for the Wii U.

 

Overall Winner: Wii U, even if Nintendo releases it's all it's specs on the Wii U there in no other way the Xbox 360 can catch up to the power that Nintendo has put into the Wii U.

Nintendo Wii U game console

Hi Nicholas,

Nintendo Wii U Console is available in two GB size: 8 GB Basic Pack @ 300$, 32GB Premium Pack @ 350$.

1. The design of the Nintendo Wii U Console (See image below) is quite smaller and different than Xbox 360.

2. It’s not super powerful than Xbox 360.

3. Swap between two applications is not that easy compared to Xbox 360.

4. The graphics display is tried to match with the Xbox 360 and no major improvement is found.
