New Lenovo Yoga 3 pro laptop isn’t working with it’s original charger

Hi, I have bought a  Lenovo Yoga 3 pro laptop few days ago. Yesterday I have recharged it fully. But today I am unable to charge it. The charging indicator light is on while charging but after passing an hour of charging, it's empty. Anyone can please help me with this problem?

I guess what you mean is, the laptop charges normally because you see the LED indicator lights up but after an hour the battery is still empty. If this is the case, you probably need to check the charger itself instead of replacing the battery. If that is a brand new laptop which you purchased very recently, there should be no problem with the battery.

Since the battery remains empty even if the charger is connected, turn off your laptop then flip it over. Remove the battery from the battery compartment. After that, connect the charger to the AC outlet then connect the jack to your laptop. Try to turn on your laptop. If there is no problem with the charger, your laptop should start even without the battery.

But if it doesn’t then you have a defective laptop charger. Since it is a newly-purchased laptop, try returning it to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement for your charger. You should be able to receive a replacement since the warranty still covers it.

Try to calibrate the battery. Because it might be the problem with the battery calibration. So just do the battery calibration. Because battery calibration will help your laptop to accurate the battery timing.
