Network not responding after sending the message

This SMS error is fine and users shouldn’t be alarmed because their message can’t be sent. I’m not sure what really causes it but one thing is for sure, it is a network problem and nothing can be done about it except to wait. If your network provider is doing an enhancement or maintenance around your area then it is probably the cause.

I usually experience this issue during bad weather or when the temperature gets colder since I am in a hotter area. Since the message is saved in the Outbox because of the failure, try sending the message again after a few minutes. If nothing happens and you still see the same error, try sending it again after an hour.

Try also restarting your phone and send the message again. If restarting the handset didn’t work, turn off your handset, open the back cover, and remove the battery as well as the SIM card. After five to ten minutes, insert the battery but not the SIM and then start the phone. Turn it off again then insert the SIM card. Try sending the message this time.

If you still can’t send the message, follow the instruction above and send it after an hour or simply contact customer support and ask for assistance regarding failure to send SMS.
