Here are the things that you need to consider when buying or choosing a particular eBooks reader : 1.Screentype – there are two types of eBooks reader today one has the LCD screen like the amazon kindle fire and the other one is the e-ink style or the paper like look like what you see in the later version of the Kindle.

There are certain advantage and disadvantage of using an e-ink style one advantage of it is to reduce eyestrain caused by the glare of the sun and greatly improve battery life but the disadvantage of using an e-ink reader is it requires an external light source for reading when dark. 2. Size and weight – if you are a type of person who read books for a long hour then I advised you to get a kindle eBooks compare to any other book reader it only weighs 8.5 ounces 3. Interface – Controls for eReading devices are typically based on either buttons, touch screens or a combination of both. Button-based controls require less power and are more accurate but can be more cumbersome to use.

Touch screens are more intuitive but can be laggy, smudge-prone, and typically suck more juice from your battery. The latter appears to be gaining popularity as the interface of choice, though, even for E Ink-based displays. 4. Capacity – This determines just how much media you can fit into your device at one time. The higher the memory, the more eBooks and files you can fit in. 5. Formats – The more formats a device can play the better. Popular file formats include EPUB, PDF, PRC, MOBI among other things. 6. Battery Life – Depending on where you want to read, battery life is an important consideration. 7. Price – It contributes the main factor when buying an eBooks reader.
