Need a solution of a iTunes error

I received an error message when trying to installing iTunes. Is there a way to fix it?

Error:

The software cannot be installed, 0x80cf402c.

Need a solution of a iTunes error

There are a lot of problems in installing iTunes. If the software cannot be installed follow this steps of general installation trouble shooting. First you have to empty your temp directory and restart, after you restart remove iTunes and all related components.

Install the latest iTunes and make sure that you have administrator account access and make sure your folders do not contain any malicious characters in it. And when you make an update make sure to get the latest version of update available and disable all other conflicting software. I hope this works for you.

Hi,

First of all by, looking at your screenshot, it seems that this is not iTunes you are installing but iTunes. ” Be very wary that what you are installing does not come from any malicious website. Download the latest iTunes version here:

• https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

 

But if this is not the case, check the control panel if there is still iTunes in your installed program (or any Apple-related products). If iTunes (or other Apple-related apps) still exist, uninstall them first before installing the updated iTunes version.

After this, it should work fine.
