Hello there Virginia,

FileZilla is an FTP client for uploading files in the directory of your site.

They are trusted when it comes to uploading and downloading files from the site.

Another software that you can use is WinScp, they are also an FTP client for transferring files to your site.

Hello Virginia, well if you are going to upload large information and files into a web server and eventually it will compose your website, I advise you use an FTP server like SmartFTP:  https://www.smartftp.com/ which is better in many ways, functionalities, user-friendliness, better performance. Another FTP server is Filezilla, here is the website: https://filezilla-project.org/. You can choose from these 2 most useful software to upload files to your website. These are both free software, however SmartFTP comes with a trial period only.

You need some software to upload and also downloading purpose.

For any kind of download purpose you can use Internet Download manager. Its a user friendly software.

On the other hand for uploading purpose use the following site-
