Need help in wordpress directory hierarchy

How can I move a wordpress site with .com domain to .org domain? I have a site in wordpress with the .com domain but trying to move it to .org domain is posing some form of challenge. I have tried chrome developer tool, but it is not working. My major challenge the mastering the WordPress hierarchy is my problem.

URL changes made within your WordPress site need to be changed as suggested below:

  1.     In your WordPress database,  change your url in the wp_options table, the siteurl and home entries everywhere.
  2.     You have to refresh Permalinks by pressing the Save button too.
  3.     To change all hard-coded URLs in posts, pages and anywhere else use "Search and Replace plug-in"  in your WordPress.
