Need help Microsoft Security Client error

Hi,

I am running Windows 8.1 32bit Operating system and received the error message when I tried to install my application. I have installed MSE and it stopped during initialization. I hope you can fix this issue. Need help ASAP. Thanks!

Need help Microsoft Security Client error

If this error appears constantly like every time you start your computer then there is a problem with Microsoft Security Client. According to Sophos, this issue was first detected on Sophos Cloud Managed Endpoint and its primary cause is the built-in CRT or Competitor Removal Utility. It seems CRT has not able to remove or delete the startup registry key.

To prevent the message from appearing every time you log on, the MSC registry value has to be deleted from [HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun]. To do this, click Start, Run, and type without quotes “regedit” then press Enter. Go to this location in the Windows registry: [HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun]. Make sure the Run key is selected on the left panel then look for the MSC data value on the right panel.

Right-click on the MSC data value and then select Delete. And that’s. This should now prevent Microsoft Security Client from displaying an error.
