Need a format -ASCII table lotus

Hello,

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. ASCII code is the numerical representation of a character such as D or 7 or an action of some sort. These days the non-printing characters are occasionally used for their original purpose. Those characters are there because ASCII was developed a long time ago. The basic table includes 128 codes, the first 32 of which are non-printable. Only 7 bits are required in order to represent codes in the basic table. The basic table is universal. But the extended table is not. As far as the extended table is used, it is up to the host computer how it interprets the codes and what it displays on the screen. For portability concern, only the basic table can be used.

Here is a site where you can find the tables. http://www.asciitable.com/

Attached is a snapshot of the basic table also. Hope it helps.

Best Regards,
Parisi
