I also had the same annoying pop up message and navigation to web page is canceled. I have found one solution from work around in forums.

Hope this could help you.

  • Go to Task Scheduler, through Administrative tools from the Control Panel .
  • Under Active Tasks at the bottom of the screen .
  • Double click on Internet service offers, a new window will be opened .
  • Under the name section you can see Internet service offers.
  • Click on it to get highlighted and now presses delete to get it deleted.

And now reboot the system.

Hope this will definitely solve your problem.

You can first of all run a full scan to your PC to check there is no virus attack on your PC. Further check any modifications you make earlier to your PC and which in the case make it running an error so when you find such modification undo it and it will work fine. Third check which program is showing this message trace that program and try to fix it. May be it need some up gradation.

The next method is to check which program needs to access to a webpage and need a web update. Also you can remove this message from startup so that it will not come when you start window to do this go to START and then to RUN and type msconfig a new window will be in front of you. Now go to startup tab and see the program you don't want to show on your startup just uncheck that program and it will not run next time when you start up.

Next check the scheduled task form Control panel under scheduled tasks and see some task that is configured at startup try to remove it and your problem will be solved.
