Hi Guys,

My Windows Media Player has encountered a problem. It is frequently throwing an error message. The message wants to send error report to the respective server. It does not matter whether I send the error report or not. However, it is an annoying message. Have you any idea to solve the problem?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi Jordon,

Hope you are doing well!

Fortunately, there is a solution for this fix.

Please follow the below steps and you would be able to access your windows media player.

1)    Click Start

2)    In the open box, type “cmd” and it will open command prompt box.

3)    Open Command windows pop up, type exactly the following:

        regsvr32 %SystemRoot%system32wmpui.dll

4)    Once you have type the above simply click enter and would receive a message which says:

Dll RegisterServer in C: WINDOWSsystem32wmpui.dll succeeded.

5)    It’s ok to click ok.

6)    Close the command prompt box, restart you machine and then open media player.

Hope this serves your purpose!

Regards,

Keaton Christopher
