Hi,

Your Pen drive is affected by unknown virus.

Your important data is in your pen drive.

You want to get your data. Here are some tips for you

  • If you are using an antivirus in your computer, then update your antivirus & then scan your pen drive.
  • Use Microsoft security essential or ESET Nod32 for scan. They will help to protect your data.
  • If your antivirus can not delete virus, you have to install ACDSee in your computer. If you don’t have it, then download from internet and then install it.
  • After installing ACDSee, open your pen drive with ACDSee. First open the software and browse your Pendrive. It will show your files. View or copy the files.

I hope your problems will be solved.

d. Under the Computer Configuration expand Administrative Templates.

e. For Windows XP users, click system. In the settings pane right click Turn-Off display. Click Enabled and Select All drives in the Turn-Off display box. Restart your computer

For Windows Vista users: Expand windows components the proceed to Autoplay Policies. In the Details pane, choose Default Behavior for AutoRun. Click Enabled and click Do not execute any Autorun commands to disable.

For Windows 7 users simply download and run this file here

You are facing problems because  a virus/worm that infected you. This worm will duplicate all your folders and create an executable files with its name keeping the original folders hidden.

At first, connect your pen/flash drive to a machine which is protected with an updated version of a good antivirus and fix all the virus threats by scanning it.

After removing all the infected files from the pen drive, go to the CMD on your computer and run the following DOS command.

ATTRIB -H -R -S /S /D E:*.*

Here we assume that the Flash drive is E: drive.

If you don't know how to go to the CMD then follow:

First of all open the file manager. Then go to top menu, Tools > Folder Options and select view tab. Now

mark the “Show hidden files and folders.”Go to Start > Run, type CMD at the OPEN: box, and press OK.

This will show the DOS command prompt.
