My pc restarts automatically after 10 minutes

I am using windows 7; 1 GB of RAM, the main problem of my computer is that it restarts automatically after 10 minutes. Again it restarts after 10 minutes again and again. I have changed my power supply. So what is the major problem in my pc?

Hello,

May be you have installed any new software, uninstall it. And clean out  the registry of any corrupt entries and remove all .tmp files.

It might be also cause by heat, maybe your CPU is getting hot so check the heat sink if it is hot.

It might be also caused by your RAM, so get  a memtest and run it for few hours.

It might be also caused by virus, so try to test it by your antivirus program.

If you are playing a game, so your graphic card maybe does not have enough memory, or it is not compliant with your game.

Hi,

There are lots of things that can cause to this problem. You said that you had changed the power supply. What happens to the earlier one? Ones I faced to the same problem that you have faced. Finally I found out the problem with the power supply. So please check the power supply again and see whether any of wire are damaged or change the color.

Other main problem can be the heat of the matched. Check whether the processor fan works properly and if it makes some noise.

Other than that remove all the assembled things to the motherboard and clean them and re assemble all.

These things will work.
