Hi guys,

Does anyone in here knows why my iPhone 4 won't turn on? It stuck on the logo apple. I already put it to DFU Mode and went to iTunes to redo it but still won't work. I haven't done anything on it earlier aside from playing games. Is there any solution on a problem like this? I need your help guys. Thanks.

Hello rominda,

Just make sure if you have gone through the following instructions for the system restore.

  • Hold sleep/wake button + home button at same time to power down iPhone and then release them when screen goes blank before logo appears.
  • Open iTunes and then hold home button of phone while you connect cable until you see “connect to iTunes screen and then release home button.
  • This puts your phone in recovery mode and restores everything. The drawback is you cant restore not music and video files.

You can also check apple support for more information.

Here is what you have to do:

  • Connect your device to iTunes while it is on recovery mode. On the windows, hold shift key and click on restore and find 4.1 ipsw. That will give you error 1015. Do not click on OK or More Info.
  • Open Recboot and click on exit recovery. After that, it will show you emergency call option with battery signs, and time visibility.
  • Open redsnow 0.9.6b5 and browse iOS 4.2.1 and choose your baseband. Turn off the device. Just follow the instructions on redsnow.

Good Luck to you!
