My hard disk makes Noise like Tic tic while working?

My hard drive makes sound like tic tic when i start my computer and sometimes it makes no noise. If there is any solution to reduce it or permanently get rid of that noise, please help me.  Or i should buy a new one?

Such noise usually is caused by some malfunction. Such problems occur when a laptop or computer is dropped or hit. I would suggest you to do back up and to replace HDD soon as possible because the HDD won't last too long and it is only a matter of time when HDD would fail. Some say that when they take HDD and put in to the freezer for a while that ticking sound would disappear. You can also check the S.M.A.R.T status of that HDD. If you get something there and not verified, then HDD will fail for sure and it should be replaced.

Hi,

Hard Disk makes noise if

a. Hard Disk failure, hardware problem
b. Not properly seated inside
c. Dirty and it's dying

This happens if computer gets bump and or even worse it fall down. Once this happened, Hard Disk failure eventually occur. A replacement of this Hard Disk inside is the best solution as because once you've heard Tic Tac noise inside and eventually was fixed for any reasons, chances are it will happen again in the future.

You may consider to take your computer to a shop. Technician will have a good look if they can find a remedy without replacing the whole Hard Disk inside.
