The read/write head inside you hard disk that read your data is broken and needs to be repaired. This is caused by improper shut down of your computer many times. I suggest that you backup all of your files while it is still working and then have it replaced or repaired by an expert.

Replacing it will make you install another operating system on your CPU. But it is good to replace it and then repair it, the brand new hard disk will be your new system and the repaired one can act as a backup. This will make your computer much faster and you won't need to worry for your system for a long time.

Hello Sam2186,

With unusual noise you hear in your Hard Disk this is an indicator that it is nearly failing to recognize soon. The physical components inside Hard Disk such as platter, spindle and actuator axis may already have defect and it is a wear and tear material. So now you must back up carefuly your files. We advise you to replace Hard disk with new one. You can use the Hard Drive but you can’t load more data on it as what we experienced in past and don’t attempt to dissemble your hard drive because of curiosity. Some try to freeze and gently drop the hard disk but that doesn’t work.
