It should be a major problem of your pc. There are several causes might bring this type of problem. First your hard disk may be damaged so system does not have any drive to boot. Hard disk has a boot sector that start the pc without that you can’t start your pc on the other hand may be some boot file was deleted by virus or anything else.

So again the computer does not have the code to start. So first try with a windows installation disk to install another window in another partition so you can recover your lost data. If the installation does not continue or pc do not start after installation your hard disk must be need to replace. Thank you.

Sorry for what you experienced this is a very bad way to start your day. When you experience this you are prone to panicking but I advise you not to panic because you will find all your files safe. It may be that a drive has failed but not the hard drive and so your music, emails and other documents are safe.

To restart the rebooting press ctrl+alt+delete, then start a repair of windows operation. The cause of this could be corrupt files, misfiguring issues and hard drive problems.

Hello Litolboyms,

To understand the nature of the problem, you will have to give a little context on the actions that you were performing on the computer before that error occurred. Did you install any program, or did you perform any installation of updates to the computer recently?

If the answer is yes then the program that you might have installed or the updates that you might have done are responsible for the problem of your computer failing to start.

I will suggest that you try booting the system from safe mode and see if you can run the system restore from there to remove all the changes that you might have done to the computer. To run the system in safe mode, just press F8 on the keyboard when the system is booting.
