My cabinet is very dirty, all the fans have dirt collected all over them, the motherboard and wires all covered in large amounts of dust. How should I clean them?
Clean your cabinet as soon as possible. The collection of dirt is a very common thing. To clean your system in the best way follow these steps –
1. Switch off the system and remove all the connections. Make sure everything is disconnected.
2. Be ready with a screwdriver to unscrew some locks. To collect dirt, you use a mini vacuum cleaner or a cleaning solution, and a bare cloth will also do.
3. Detach and unplug all the parts which can be easily removed. Then clean them thoroughly one by one. Blow away all the dust and clean the motherboard, processor carefully.
4. Once the cleaning is done, plug-in all the pieces again redo the wiring and close the cabinet.
5. Make sure you clean it regularly. Frequency can be once to twice a month depending upon how much dust accumulates in the cabinet.
