The msascui.exe application error occuurred

Hello,

Has anyone experienced the msascui.exe error? I do not understand where it is coming from but I took a screen shot to show the experts here and maybe I can finally solve it.

MSASCui.exe – Application Error

The instruction at 0x10001186 referenced memory at 0x10001186. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program

The msascui.exe application error occuurred

MSASCui.exe is part of Microsoft Windows Protector Anti Spyware program that is pre-installed on the Vista Operating Systems. MSASCui.exe is the Defender's User Interface application

Located in C:Program FilesWindows Defender folder.  To remove your error try this:

1. First of all Open Windows Defender

2. Then click on the TOOLS icon

3. Click on Options

4. And now Remove the check-mark for Automatically scan my computer.

Beside this also you can try: Go Run> type in >> 'msconfig” << Click the Startup tab>>

Then Remove the check-mark Windows Defender
