What are the dissimilarities between iWork and Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 Family Pack? Which is good to use? And when using Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student, do I need to have new authorities?

MS Office for Mac and iWork

In case you do not need to do complex formatting on the documents that you will be using these application, then I will recommend that you install iWork on your imac instead of ms office. When using iWork, you will have the ability to save the files in the ms office formats too and therefore you will not be inconvenienced.

Some of the reasons I will recommend iWork as compared to ms office are because:

• iWork is substantially cheaper, and you can purchase it from the App store on your imac for only $20.
• In case you will not be having the need for creating presentations, you can as well skip the keynote and get pages or numbers for only $40
• IWork also is compatible with ms office formats.
