MP160 Scanner not working properly

Greetings,

My scanner is not able to scan pictures to PC since yesterday. This is the only problem because other functionalities such as printing and scanning work correctly except Scanning To PC.

After trying to scan using the MP Navigator 3.0, I get this error message:

Error message:

Cannot communicate with scanner.

Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off.

Check status.

Scanner driver will be closed.

For resolving the problem you have to do.

  1. Change the data cable and hope this will resolve your problem.
  2. If problem still there then check the printer queue and remove printing job if any and restart your device.
  3. Reinstall your device driver.
