Motorolla XT615 continous memory issues

Hello! I am using Motorolla XT615, not a very new smartphone. I have used it for quite a long time now but now it is showing all sort of problems. One problem is that it always shows that memory space is insufficient while downloading something from playstore. I even went to the settings and checked there was no application which was installed on SD card. Due to this I actually had to delete a lot of applications and photos from my mobile phone. I think that automatically the setting has been changed that whenever I download something it is stored in the phone's memory rather than in the SD card. Please help me fix this problem

First, it is advisable to install Mounts2SD successfully on the ROM and try to flash stock ROM using RSD.

Also, go to the recovery option (pull out the battery, then power on by holding volume up & down keys at once, when switched on, press home button) & try factory reset. Or else, set up Link2SD, instead of Mounts2SD partition of the SD card.

Further, do a clean installation of ROM. Install Link2SD as the first app so that every other app is copied to the second partition

The Motorola MOTO XT615 Smartphone is a 3G phone. It supports 2G and 3G networks and uses a mini-SIM card. It was unveiled on November 2011 and released on March 2012. It measures 117.7 x 60.5 x 9.9 millimeters and weighs 123.6 grams. It has a TFT capacitive touchscreen display at 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch with touch sensitive controls and Moto Switch UI 2.0.

It runs on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread powered by Qualcomm MSM7227A-0 Snapdragon chipset, 800 MHz Cortex-A5 processor, and Adreno 200 GPU. It supports microSD expandable up to 32 GB. It runs on 512 MB RAM with 1 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 pixels with LED flash and autofocus. It features geo-tagging and can record video in 480p at 30 fps.

The secondary camera supports VGA. It has Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and EDR, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot. It includes accelerometer, compass, and proximity sensors. The built-in browser supports HTML5 with Adobe Flash support. Java is supported. It runs on Li-Ion 1390 mAh battery with standby time up to 110 hours and talk time up to 5 hours.

If your phone always prompts you with an insufficient memory error when downloading, then it is possible that your 1 GB internal storage is almost full. If you have many apps installed, go to Settings, Apps, and then select “On SD card” tab. It lists all the apps that can be moved to your microSD card.
