Motorola Razr V3 hangs with white screen

My mobile phone v3 has been with me for three years now and it is just now that I have been having problems with it. I have installed about 200 songs in it and whenever I go to the music player and play them, my Motorola Razr V3’s screen hangs then turns white. I tried turning it off by pressing the power button but it doesn’t work. It is only when I remove the batteries that it really turns off. What might be wrong with the phone?

Motorola Razr V3 hangs with white screen

The blank screen problem may cause due to some factors. This may cause due to a software glitch or burned circuits within your phone. Try the following steps and if the problem persists it needs a repair or replacement.

* Remove the battery while the problem persists. This must solve the issue because temporary stored data are cleared when this step is performed. If you still have the white screen problem perform the below option.

* Try performing a master reset to your phone. If you do not know how please refer to the phone user manual. But this will clear all your personalized settings saved on your phone like ringtones, contacts etc. Therefore you should have a backup before resetting the phone.

* The white screen problem differs for various phones. Though you get a blank screen while opening media player, sometimes it happens without opening any applications when time passes by without repairing.
