I'm working with an embedded device running windows CE 4.2 on my X86 platform.

I need a software of acrobat reader on an urgent basis.

Where can I find and download it for absolutely free?

I also want to know pros and cons of this program.

There are many sites on the internet that you can get the Acrobat Reader from for free. But is important that you be sure of the site that you are downloading from for some sites cannot be trusted. The following are some of the sites that I will recommend that you download Acrobat Reader from.

Go to any of the sites and search for acrobat reader and then download it. It is important that you download the more recent version of Acrobat Reader for better performance.

Windows CE 4.2 usually comes packed with a PDF reader. Then there is a question of which kind of device you are using. However because this is a X86 Platform, there is no way you can download a Acrobat Reader.

There are two things you can do:

  1. You can ask OEM to issue a new image with the PDF viewer in ROM,
  2. Or asking Ansry an x86 build or Primer 3.1 that will run under CE4
