How to find Windows Utility as wireless utility application got corrupted

Hey there, 

Can somebody help me, on how to get my wireless network working?

My wireless utility application got corrupted, so I uninstalled it. I later found out that I misplaced my wireless card CD, so I could not reinstall the utility.

I know Windows has its own utility but I could not find it on network connections. I know the wireless card works, since its blinking from time to time.

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

How to find Windows Utility as wireless utility application got corrupted

Seems like the computer has not restarted, did it? And any chance that the wireless driver has been checked, if properly installed?

Yes, the computer has been restarted and the wireless driver is properly installed.

How to find Windows Utility as wireless utility application got corrupted

• Go to Start > Run and type, "services.msc".
• Right click on Wireless Zero Configuration; then Properties.
• Service Status section, click Start button.
• To run the Wireless Zero Configuration service, every time the computer starts, on startup type choose automatic.
• Now, open network connections from control panel and the wireless network connection should already be there.

How to find Windows Utility as wireless utility application got corrupted

1. Please check your wireless manufacturer.
2. Get the model of the wireless your using.
3. Searched their website because it's a free software downloading without cost.
4. Lastly, followed the installation instructions until finished.
