Is Milestone Excel template not compatible?

Hello there.  I installed the add-in for Timeline milestone Excel template to create a visual roadmap of projects.  I launch Excel, and it now crashes.  I am on Windows XP 64 bit SP 2 and Microsoft Excel 2010.  Could the milestone Excel template having compatibility issues?

Is Milestone Excel template not compatible?

Dear Hamilton Honny,

Timeline milestone excel template is compatible with windows XP,  Win 7 and Win 8.

You must first make sure that the installation process was completed uninterrupted. It is always a possibility that improper installation may lead to program crashes.

1. You must uninstall Microsoft Excel

2. Reinstall Microsoft Excel

3. Download the ad in through this link and install it.

4. Close Microsoft Excel and Reboot the system.

This would solve your problem. If still it is does not help then you could use this tutorial to learn how to make timeline milestone on excel

Hello Hamilton Honny,

                 I think that you have not install the software completely. As basically this error came when you have improper installation of the software. Windows MS excel is compatible on all the versions of windows either you are using windows Xp ,7 or 8. But now you have to uninstall the software completely and after that you have to install it again. Try to download it from Microsoft website so that you can get correct version from there.
