Hi,

I have a notebook without a CD drive. The notebook has an SD card slot, and a USB port. I do have a USB to SATA adapter so I can connect the drive to the notebook externally. Can anyone help me migrate the entire disk to the new drive?

If you want to back up your entire hard drive to an external hard drive. You can just copy all the files in an external hard drive. But if you are going to copy everything.

Like the whole hard drive you can use what we call Disk Cloning. This allows you to copy everything from a hard disk to the back up disk that you want. Just remember that the Destination Disk should at least be bigger than the size of the source disk.

Here are some websites where you can get this and I also take the initiative to add websites where you can learn and understand more about this. Fist web page, second web page, third web page.
