I used to have a Nokia Lumia phone running on Windows phone OS. I have recently bought an Android phone and now I want to transfer everything to it. I was wondering if there is an application or method that I could use to sync WhatsApp messages to my new phone. With WhatsApp for web out, I think there might be a way. Please help if you know.

Yes, it is possible to transfer your chat history to your new phone. Follow the few steps below

1. First save your chat history in to your sdcard using your old phone. Simply go to wahatsapp settings-chat settings-back up conversations

2. Remove the SDcard from your old phone and insert it to your new phone

3. Install whatsapp on your new phone and you must use the same number you used previously

4. Click restore when asked to restore your history
