Microsoft Word Web App fails to open a PDF

Hello all,

I was using the pretty old version of sharepoint for long time, without any issues. But now things changed, it asked to me update the version so. After updating I am getting this error message. What will I do now? Some documents are created in old version and some in new, how will I correct this problem?

Microsoft Word Web App fails to open a PDF

Well it seems that some files on this page require a program that you don't have installed.Follow the following steps:-

1.  What you can do is from Office Web Apps disconnect your  SharePoint Farm by using the command 'Remove-SPWOPIBinding –All:$true'

2.  Then  try to reconnected the Farm to OWA by running the command New-SPWOPIBinding -ServerName <WacServerName> -AllowHTTP.

3.  Make sure that the WOPIZone was set to 'external-https' if u don’t find then try this command Set-SPWOPIZone –zone “external-https”.

4.   Hope, Office Web Apps will start working from internally but not on the Internet. For internet you need to have javascript .
