Today I receive one mail from my friend its extension is .doc. Now I am trying to open this file but I receive error. I install Word 2003 and 2007 but I am receiving conversion error. I click at yes it install few files then again try to open that file but same error appear again. Can anyone tell me its solution?

Text converters are basically used to convert the file format of a document saved in Word or Excel. Sometimes when you open some files that have either been saved in a flash drive from another machine or Microsoft Office file attached in your email, this may bring error messages when trying to open them especially when they had been saved from a different version from the one you have.
This is when the text converter comes in. You need to install the right converter to avoid getting the error message you got when trying to open the mail your friend sent you. Text converter comes with the Microsoft Office converter pack.
To install the converter you need to run the Microsoft Office converter pack in your CD drive and click yes to the error message that appeared prompting you to install a converter. It will definitely get installed and your file will open.

Simply, take time to convert so that the file opens up. Otherwise you must re-install the Office program for better results and simple working environment.
